Generic Flow Analysis in Computer Networks
V této práci představujeme metodu charakteristiky síťového provozu z pohledu obsahu komunikace i chování v čase.
Ergodic Theory
Lisko, Adrian ; Hlubinka, Daniel (advisor) ; Štěpán, Josef (referee)
This Bachelor Thesis compiles basics of ergodic theory. Motivation for writing this text was interesting topic and linkeage between it and the mathematics already learned. The Thesis begins with defining measure-preserving transformations and continues with recurrence and Poincarré's recurrence theorem to ergodicity and Birkhoff's ergodic theorem and mixing. In the end, it is shown that Birkhoff's ergodic theorem generalizes Kolmogorov's strong law of large numbers for stationary random sequences. Theory is demonstrated on a handful of examples of basic transformations.
Random walk
Baňasová, Barbora ; Omelka, Marek (advisor) ; Dostál, Petr (referee)
Random walk is a well-known mathematical model used in various scientific fields. The aim of this thesis is to explain and to show the relation between the basic characteristics of simple random walk. The paper summarizes theoretical knowledge concerning this mathematical model in terms of its symmetrical or asymmetrical version. It deals with the derivation of absorbing probabilities, probability of the first and repeated return to origin and clasification of simple random walk states. The final part presents random walk in a wider perspective as a martingale. The conditions under which a random walk equals a martingale are established as well. It is also shown how it is possible to apply this more general mathematical structure on the model of random walk.

The crime of theft according to section 205 of Czech Criminal Code
Halašta, Martin ; Bohuslav, Lukáš (advisor) ; Gřivna, Tomáš (referee)
The crime of theft according to section 205 of Czech Criminal Code This diploma thesis focuses on crime of theft according to section 205 of the Act No. 40/2009 Coll. Criminal code. Crime of theft is the most committed crime out of them all. It is therefore possible to think that one of the causes of such a high frequency may be its inadequate regulation in the Criminal Code. For this reason, the aim of thesis was to describe and evaluate its development and propose possible changes. Thesis also includes a comparison with the foreign regulation and extensive work with the judicial case law, which significantly contributed to the completion of the individual qualified crime elements Thesis is divided into five chapters and many subchapters. The introductory chapter is devoted to the inclusion of theft into the system of property crimes. In the following section are mentioned earlier opinions on the protection of property as such and how ownership is protected today. The second chapter describes, evaluates and compares the historical development of the legal regulation of the theft with the current regulation, especially in the Czech territory. This chapter discusses how different the perception of the property protection was and over the period has been. Also, next part in this chapter is devoted to...

Economic Impacts of Nosocomial Clostridium Difficile Infection in a Health Care Facility
Váchová, Eva ; Lešetický, Ondřej (advisor) ; Bednářová, Martina (referee)
Nosocomial infections represent for the health care providers serious economical and also health complications. The aim of this thesis is a comprehensive presentation of nosocomial infections. Second part focuses on a bacteria Clostridium difficile. This thesis analyzes epidemiological situation in a particular medical care facility together with the cost of therapy. The incidence of Clostridium difficile is, despite of the worldwide increasing trend, decreasing in the selected facility. Significant differences exist among individual departments in the amount of samples collected as well as in their rate of positivity for the bacteria presence. Data collected are applied to a German pharmacoeconomic model which compares vancomycin therapy with fidaxomicin therapy. On a group of 100 patients it was proved that more efficient is, despite of its higher price, treatment by fidaxomicin because it leads to a lower percentage of recurrences and morbidity and mortality decrease.
Effectiveness of Mitomycin administration in superficial bladder tumor
PEČINKOVÁ, Alena
This bachelory thesis deals with the possible occurrence of recurrence in superficial bladder tumors after administration of alkylating antibiotic Mitomycin C. If the relapse is proved, the thesis also deals with the finding of time spacing between relapses. This thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part the basic anatomical and functional properties of the bladder are described, as well as the risk factors that are a possible cause of bladder cancer and clinical symptoms. There is also described a bladder cancer diagnosis and treatment strategies. The last chapter deals with the incidence of recurrence of bladder cancer. Bladder cancer can be divided into a superficial and invasive carcinomas. Superficial tumors have several treatment options and a better prognosis than tumors invasive, however, superficial bladder cancer often leads to a disease recurrence and up to 50 % of all patients are affected by the relapse. Bladder cancer does not belong to the most common cancer, among men it is the 6th most common cancer, among women the 13th, but the incidence is rising. Bladder cancer affects mainly men, namely up to 75 % of the total number of the patients. The risk is much greater among smokers. The correlation between smoking and the development of bladder cancer has been demonstrated in several studies. The basic treatment for superficial bladder tumors is tranuretheral resection and intravesical chemotherapy or imunuterapiy. Radical cystectomy is the most common therapeutic procedure for invasive cancer . The practical part evaluates the data that I collected on the Oncology department of hospital in České Budějovice a.s. I have been given the medical report of 53 patients, and all patients were diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2011-2013 and were applied Mitomycin either immediately after the first detection of bladder cancer or the recurrence. The aim is to determine whether the recurrence occurs after a treatment of superficial bladder cancer with mitomycin, and if so, in what time frame. Collected data were summarized in tables and graphs showing patient's age, gender, histopathological grading and recurrence, including the time gap between the first capture of the tumor and its recurrence. Patients who were applied Mitomycin after the tumor recurrence, not at the first detection of the tumor, but even after the following application of Mitomycin a repeated relapse occured, I compared the temporal spacing between the first detection and relapse without Mitomycin and with Mitomycin administration. The evaluated data show that although Mitomycin does not prevent recurrences completely, it extends the time when the patient had negative results on recidivism by up to six month.

Uruba, Václav
Analysis of behavior of extended dynamical system represented by turbulent boundary layer in separation region using a recurrence plot is suggested. The recurrence plot is constructed and qualitatively analyzed.
